CALLING ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS!
Between August 24th and September 30th, we are hosting a Pie in the Face Recruitment Challenge. We are searching for Bigs & Littles in our community to create life-changing friendships.
👉 Here is how the recruitment challenge works:
- 1. You recruit friends and family members to be a Big or Little.
- 2. Contact us who you are recruiting with their name & phone #/email.
- 3. Once we are in contact with the recruited individuals, your name will be put into a drawing to pie one of our staff members in the face!
🥧 It's as easy as pie! 🥧
Follow us on our social media pages to watch our staff get pied!"

At Big Brothers Big Sisters, the safety and well-being of our volunteers, families, employees, and other stakeholders is top priority.
We continue to closely monitor updates from the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control on COVID-19 (coronavirus). We are also receiving guidance and recommendations from our Board of Directors and national office to help inform real time responses.
Regarding our one-to-one mentoring program services:
Due to undetermined plans with schools in our area, our Lunch Buddies programs are paused at the moment. We are offering a Pen-Pal program along with a Virtual Mentoring program. If you would like more information, please contact us at 740-453-7300.
For Community-based Program participants, please work closely with your Little and their Parent/Guardian and make the best decision together regarding future outings.
In both instances your Match Support Specialist will be in regular contact with you to continue to conduct Match Support connections. If you will not be meeting with your Little we will be in touch to facilitate and explore alternatives.

When children and teens have the influence of a caring adult, they are more likely to avoid risky behaviors and to focus on academics. Today's youth face a variety of challenges, and being matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister can help them navigate these challenges and reach their potential.
